ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಬ್ಬ - ೨೦೧೨

MAKKALA HABBA (ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಬ್ಬ)

Nele Mangalore organised a summer camp for rural government school kids in a village named Balkaje which is 35kms away from Sulya, DK. This summer camp was named as Makkala Habba (Festival of Children).

We have been organising such camps from past 3 years and this is our third successful camp. We specifically select remote rural areas for this camp because children from remote areas do not get the same facilities as the children of  developed areas get

In this camp we do not apply any rules or restrictions for the children. They are free to do whatever they want, they can learn what we teach if they are interested or else they can play as they want.  We just want the children to be happy and comfortable with us.

Our main intention in organising such camps is we want children to learn new things, we want them to develop interest towards co curricular activities and use their imagination power to the fullest.

In this camp we organise different types of  activities for children where they are encouraged to learn and try those activities on their own.

Come, have a look at what all we did at Makkala Habba
